Ok, would be better comarison:

St. Croix Legend Elite vs. Loomis GLX - Rodmakers are the flagship models - both are very light and the two extreme actions quickly) (too fast IMO. Both are of the generation 5 graphite. The Rod Loomis is a little more expensive but nicer material (reelseat etc.) Allow about
$ 500 for Santa Cruz and 625 U.S. dollars for Loomis

St. Croix Legend Ultra vs. Loomis IMX (Metolius) --
They are made of graphite Generation 4th The difference is that Loomis offers a selection of candles in any way to display information (fast) or high line speed (very fast).
The Legend Ultra is a quick action bar \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ u0026lt I own>
Once again, Loomis beautiful accessories.
Santa Cruz costs about $ 300 - $ 350, Loomis, $ 350 - $ 380

Avid Series would disadvantage Loomis GL3
The two measures are moderately fast bars. Santa Cruz
Loomis graphite Generation 2 Generation 3
The Avid system offers more legnths of GL3 and costs about $ 60 less. Both accessories are cheaper orone of its more expensive counterparts.

The bar is the best?

Well, for someone who is an expert pitcher Loomis IMX.

For someone who's a good pitcher and all
Purposes, I would say that the cone presentaion Loomis GLX
(if) you spend a lot of money.

Naturally, Avid Santa Cruz is not far behind and is available in configurations than any other model offered in this list.

Today, people tend to think that the sooner the bar is the best - not the case. Tip rods are flexible cast and Shooting Dogs
not exactly the best tool for professionals in the fishing closure.

So, in short, if you fish the big river with big flies and you're spending a pitcher with experts, to raise money to Loomix IMX or Legend elite. If you are fishing rivers of medium size and not 60 feet + throw from St. Croix Avid is probably the best choice, but if you want the extra money in a cone of Loomis Metolius presentaion spend in front.

Own Love G. Loomis, but I have 2 very beautiful Santa Cruz at a price of G. Loomis 1 decent.

Remember, I do not know what fish rod and reel only you. If you are a professional and 100,000 U.S. dollars for the arts tournament after tournament is mounted, you go with what you and your wallet. (The funny thing is that usually favors or not dealt with pay. And yet, trying to sell in the U.S. $ 500 + to Rods & Reels by advertising, etc.. I've had Sage rods, the fish were very nice, but not enjoy fishing with them as well, because I always keep a hairy eyeball "it to ensure, that nothing has happened. Tell my rods are ideal for fishing show for inspection, but if I have a fishing rod I take my Walmart Lighting Rod. LOL)

It is a matter of personal taste. Both bars are excellent. Sainte-Croix and G Loomis are the biggest names on the market. Personally, I love Santa Cruz. I had some old models, Ben Doerr, and brought me a premiere truimph and awards. I am sure that the handle is a first class.

I have several G-Loomis IMX and swear by them. Expensive, but worth every penny. the type of machine that lasts a lifetime.

Both rods are excellent. I have a few of them. Both fish very well, and can guarantee can not be beaten. If it matters, I would say that the Holy Cross was to win, simply because more stick for the money.
