Types Of Freshwater Pet Fish What Other Types Of Fish Should I Add To My 10 Gallon Freshwater Aquarium?

What other types of fish should I add to my 10 gallon freshwater aquarium? - types of freshwater pet fish

I have a freshwater aquarium of 10 gallons. At the moment I have a male and a female betta Balloon Molly. I began to kill with 3 balloon mollies, then I completely cycle the tank, the Betta, including 2 of 3 small fish has. It seems very well with the survival Molly (which is pretty aggressive for himself) lived together in peace for 2 weeks. I would like to add some more fish, but do not want to overload. I tried many ghost shrimp, but they die very quickly and can find no other shrimp in local stores for pets. Does anyone have any recommendations? I do not want, the more the betta tank.

I Pechito Plata Pristella Tetras, Black Neon Tetra Tetra Serpa Cory sterbai and cats, with my male Betta. Your betta sounds more aggressive than I am, but if I did not go for black or neon Pristella. The silver hatchet fish can on their own initiative and are so cool in them. The Serpa Tetra May also a bit of an attitude, sometimes, they even see it. They are also in red and a little color in your tank. Good luck!

Set never goldfish and other fish in the tank, they need different kinds of food and medical

I once had a betta in a community tank, and was so shy that she has named Chicken $#!+...

Get some guppies and mollies and guppies are both producers of life, birth place, is to lay eggs. If your version is still beta aggressive is a splitter that you can get stuck on the edge of the container. You will receive a special separator for pregnant women and their children need, so they are not eaten by other fish, as they will hatch.

Edit: Please be aware that the breeders live chickens and eggs are kept in a community tank. Corey catfish are the exception. They just lay on the ground and help algae growth to a minimum.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Consider a divider. They are about $ 10 in pet shops. It might Betta about 1 / 3 of the tank and more Mollies and Platys.

When Molly is super aggressive, probably not even consider the opportunity to not eat fish anyway.

Some species of fish that would be appropriate, with a Betta:

- Minnow White Cloud
- Tetra
- Dani
- Viviparous * with the exception of the small fish, which benefit from the brackish
I would not put a betta with guppies luxury, because it could be mistaken for another betta.
- Rasboras

What tankmates go bottom utilities, Plecos, catfish or loaches, is appropriate. Corydoras (Cory cats) are a common favorite. Remember, however, that Cory cats must be at least 3 and be really happy. I like Khuli loaches, although sometimes difficult to take care of. There is also a Black Khuli Loach on the street.

People do not want fish are often seen as tank mates. Is this a good idea? Finally, destroying nearly betta shrimp or snails in the tank. A snail is large enough to be sure, but generally betta get a snail and its shell shake, so you can eat. Some bettas also less aggressive, but worth the risk?

African Dwarf Frogs are a better choice if you can see thatobtain adequate food. They are beautiful in an aquarium, but be aware that they are bottom feeders. Do not choose very carefully on the African clawed frog! Here's a good link ADF is recommend you read if you consider the ADF as tankmates.

The conclusion is that the best tankmates depends on the temperament of your betta. You can get a kind of fish, but someone else does not. Keep an eye on tankmates separate and be ready if there are problems (fish that are injured, stressed, in hiding, persecution or harassment, etc..)

If you play with dangerous combinations you can think that everything be good, but one day wake up in May with a nasty surprise as dead tankmates. "Everything was good until they started attacking." Some combinations just will not be! Context suggest, even if things seem good at first, and as always, just keep an eye on the problems with their comrades of the tank.

Do not get me wrong - I do not want to scare away from tankmates. Bettas can be as thin as the townFish. Remember, a few guidelines for the success for you and the fish. Good luck with it!

I work well with Bettas and I was 6 zebra danios and a freshwater snail. I feel the warmth of your goldfish. The most important rule about what you know about Bettas, add the last fish is what they are territorial. Do not misunderstand that the Betta fish are great, but in the window so that they, together with others, you must add one last time. When I help others in any way, send me.
